I’ll show you old American industrial jeans making process, that was prior to 1970s when new generation of sewing machines become more automate and computerized and human touch was taking out of process.
This old way of making jeans is long gone from the big denim industry and only small artinian brands keep this old way of making jeans alive. I’ll use all 11 vintage industrial sewing machines to make one pair of 5 pocket jeans with hidden rivets from selvage Cone Mills denim that is about 15oz.
I’ll will show and teach you how to make a pair of jeans step by step: from cutting selvage denim cloth to sewing pieces nto a finished pair of jeans.
